The Hairdresser

And so I did a joint project with my cosplay kouhai Tenshi (here known as RagazzaGiovanna) and Wacky Cherry (here known as cherry-cherie) who had a "DRAMAtical Murder" thing going on. I jumped to the call to get in Koujaku's shoes, mostly because I really liked his character design, but little did I know that the project will turn out to be way harder than it seemed. Koujaku is probably the most difficult costume I ever did - both in terms of crafting (dat kimono) and body modification (dat chest binding), but I have to say I quite like the end result. I'm actually embarrassed by how much I like myself as a dude.

Anyway, this cosplay is the result of a huge teamwork which ate away two months of our lives, so kudos to the team - first and foremost Tenshi and Wacky Cherry for, well, everything; then Endymion for crafting the sword and the hairpin; Ana and Marina for sewing together the kimono pieces we have painstakingly painted by hand; and finally Ljubica, our makeup fairy, who has the gift of magic to turn little girls into little boys.
