The Poppy Field

On this one, you can see the makeup magic that Ljubica did to transform me into an anime character, and I like how the false eyelashes, the fringe and the pale lips give her some sort of a 60s glamour. I think it goes very nicely with Yuuko's mystique. 

By the way, notice that crooked smirk plastered on my face? There's sort of a funny story behind it. See, it's not a natural expression for me - I had to practice it for the role of Cersei, because I wanted to nail Lena Heady's trademark smirk as much as it was possible. I practiced it until I became comfortable with it enough to confidently play Lady Lannister on stage (Cersei being the only character in whose skin I actually participated in a competition), and when our ASoIaF project was over, I thought I was done with it. And yet.

I started noticing I have Cersei's smirk as Morrigan - both the old one, and the new. I see it now on Yuuko. Heavens, I started rocking the crooked smirk in real life as well, not only in fancy pics for which I pose, but also on spontaneous phone camera shots. The expression became my own.

Good thing that a crooked smirk goes really well with the vast majority of the characters I play. And as for having it in real life too - well, I think I can live with that.
